On Tuesday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Oklahoma City Thunder in California.
The Lakers are coming off a 134-128 loss to the Dallas Mavericks (in Texas).
Marcus Smart did not play in the game (and missed his seventh straight).

For Tuesday’s game, the Lakers will remain without Smart.
ESPN’s Dave McMenamin wrote: “Lakers injury report for Tuesday: Smart is still out and James is questionable”

Smart is in the middle of his first year playing for the Lakers.
The former Oklahoma State star is averaging 9.5 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting 39.9% from the field and 33.6% from three-point range in 60 games.
Smart’s NBA Career

Smart was the sixth pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
In addition to the Lakers, he has also had stints with the Boston Celtics, Memphis Grizzlies and Washington Wizards over 12 seasons.

Smart helped the Celtics reach the 2022 NBA Finals (and he made the Eastern Conference finals five times during his stint with the franchise).
The 32-year-old has career averages of 10.5 points, 3.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 38.9% from the field and 32.5% from three-point range in 695 games.
