“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley and her husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley have announced they are taking time apart.
In a May 9 Instagram upload, Dorit Kemsley shared a statement from her and her husband. According to the statement, she and her husband “have been subject to a lot of speculation about [their] marriage.” The Kemsleys also stated that they “have had [their] struggles over the last few years.” However, despite their issues, they made the effort to “work through them.” The estranged couple also wrote that they “made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart.”
The RHOBH stars explained that they have chosen to separate “to safe guard [their] friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for [their] children,” Phoenix Kemsley and Jagger Kemsley. They also stated that they want to “prioritize [their] children” while they navigate their split. In addition, the Bravo personalities expressed gratitude toward understanding fans.
“We appreciate the love and continued support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey,” read a portion of the post.
Dorit Kemsley Spoke About Her Marriage in a February 2024 Episode of the ‘RHOBH After Show’
During a February 2024 episode of the “RHOBH After Show,” Dorit Kemsley spoke about having difficulty in her marriage to her husband, whom she wed in 2015. She stated that she was unhappy with PK Kemsley following her 2021 home invasion because “he was not physically around.” She stated, however, that she and the father of her children “decided to press reset” on their marriage and “were in a much better place.”
Dorit Kemsley also stated that she was aware rumors had circulated that she and PK Kemsley had separated. She noted that she and her husband decided to “put out a joint statement” in January 2024 to deny the rumors about their marriage.
“The rumors are false. PK and I — we have had our struggles and we’ve worked through them,” said Dorit Kemsley.
The fashion designer also suggested she believed she and her husband would remain together as a couple.
“PK and I are good. We’re going to be good. We’re going to be great. Please God,” continued the mother of two.
Dorit Kemsley stated, however, that if she and her husband were to break up, they would be forthcoming with the information.
“We will be the ones to say, ‘Listen, we’ve decided to part ways,’” said the RHOBH star.
