On Tuesday, March 17, the New York Knicks are slated to host the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden.
The Knicks are on the hunt for their fourth-straight victory, facing a severely undermanned Pacers team that ranks last in the Eastern Conference.
As the Knicks prepare for the matchup, they added a couple of key names to the injury report. Jalen Brunson was downgraded as early as Monday night. Mitchell Robinson was added to the report on Tuesday morning.

Robinson has been downgraded to questionable for the matchup. According to the Knicks’ injury report, the veteran center is dealing with muscle tightness in his back.
If Robinson can’t get the nod to play on Tuesday night, it would mark his first absence since the Knicks’ March 9 matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Since then, Robinson has played in the Knicks’ last three games. He picked up a start in their outing against the Pacers, seeing the court for 30 minutes. When the Knicks met with the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, March 15, Robinson resumed his role off the bench, seeing the court for 17 minutes.
During that time, Robinson went 2-2 from the field to score four points. He also had 10 rebounds, three steals, and two blocks. The Knicks took care of the Warriors with a 110-107 victory.
The 27-year-old Robinson has appeared in 50 games for the Knicks this year. He started in just 15 of those matchups. Seeing the court for 19.5 minutes per game, the veteran center has posted averages of 5.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks.
Robinson entered the NBA in 2018 as a second-rounder (36th overall pick). He has spent his entire eight-year career with the Knicks.

New York and Boston have been going back and forth with the second seed throughout the year.
Lately, the Celtics have found the edge. Even before the return of Jayson Tatum, the Celtics took advantage of a post-NBA Cup rough patch for New York.
Now, with Tatum’s return, the Celtics are even bigger threats to the East. Following a second consecutive win on Monday night, the Celtics improved to 45-23. After winning seven of their last 10, Boston holds a 1.5-game lead over the Knicks.
The Knicks and the Pacers are slated for a 7:30 PM ET tip on Tuesday night.
