The 2026 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season gets going this weekend with the first Grand Prix of the year. With a full Ferrari Fairytale unfolding for both of the team’s drivers, speculation and buzz is swirling about which global icons and celebrity newlyweds are going to be present in the paddock to support their significant others.

Wives, girlfriends, and significant others of Formula 1 drivers play a major role on the race track – or rather, in the ‘paddock’ per F1 terminology. Nearly every team has the significant others of their drivers set up in the team’s garage with a pair of headphones exclusive to the team’s radio channels between the race engineers and the drivers themselves as the Grand Prix take places. This special honor is bestowed upon the wives and girlfriends of the drivers in a show of appreciation for their support not just of the driver himself, but of the entire team and what it takes to be on an F1 team franchise.
Unlike the NFL and NBA where players spend their time playing games around the nation, Formula 1 drivers take their tournament truly international by competing in over 20 different countries over the course of a 12-month calendar year. This makes a romantic relationship with a Formula 1 driver very demanding and trying in many different ways, the least of which is the constant switching up of time zones and having to deal with major jet lag. But jet-setting and maintaining a global career isn’t anything new to Kim Kardashian, which makes her an ideal partner for a professional racing driver like Lewis Hamilton.

For Charles Leclerc and his new bride, Alexandra Leclerc, there’s a pretty decent chance that the couple will be in the paddock as the new Mrs. Leclerc has frequently been a staple to escort the pair’s beloved dog, Leo, around the circuit. But now there’s an even more high-profile couple entering the Scuderia Ferrari garage – seven time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and reality television mogul Kim Kardashian.
With the Australian Grand Prix set to begin in just a few days, predictions are being made about the couple’s likelihood of appearing together at the GP – and given how their relationship has gone so far and how comfortable both Hamilton and Kardashian have been with casually appearing out and about across the globe, there’s a solid chance that the upcoming F1 race will be their first official moment in the spotlight.

Typically, A-Listers go to great lengths (and they have the means to go to those great lengths) to keep new relationships private before they’re ready to reveal romances to the world. But Hamilton and Kardashian have been far from private in recent weeks as they’ve appeared at the Super Bowl, out in Paris, watching the sunset on the side of the road in Arizona, and enjoying time together in many other global hotspots.
As of now, we know where Lewis Hamilton will be this coming weekend for the F1 Australian GP – now it’s just a matter of waiting to see if Kim Kardashian will be joining him in the Scuderia Ferrari garage on race day.
