Woods posted a viral Game of Thrones meme on her Instagram Story, featuring Arya Stark wearing a New York Knicks cap. The caption read:

“When people ask you what happened here, tell them the North remembers. Tell them winter came for House Atlanta.”

This‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ post directly references a scene from the 7th season of Game of Thrones where Arya Stark – a cold and ruthless killer – kills the whole rival house and gives the terrifying line. Woods changed the original line referring to “House Frey” to “House Atlanta,” making the Hawks the defeated enemy and the Knicks the fierce, merciless North.

KAT‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ put out a good performance. In Game 6, the deciding game of the series, Karl-Anthony Towns posted his second triple-double of the series, leading the Knicks to a stellar show on both offense and defense.

The Knicks didn’t just win they made franchise history. The 140-89 blowout over the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 was the largest playoff victory in New York Knicks history.

OG Anunoby poured in 29 points in just 27 minutes, while Jalen Brunson, who dropped 39 points in Game 5, kept the pressure on Atlanta’s defense throughout the series. The Hawks never had an answer.

Karl-Anthony‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Towns was a dominant player for the New York Knicks in their first-round playoff series against the Atlanta Hawks. Over the course of six games, Towns averaged 18.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game, a triple-double calibre output that confirmed his value beyond scoring.

His scoring efficiency was equally commendable. Towns shot 56.9% from the field and 47.1% from deep on the series, which included 8-17 three-point attempts, stats that would make any NBA team green with envy.

He also went to the line consistently and made 90.3% of his free throws, hitting 28 of 31 attempts, reflecting his coolness under pressure.

Out of all the games in the series, his most stellar one was probably Game 1 when the big man scored 25 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 4 assists, with the shooting accuracy of 46.2% within the 33 minutes of playing time.

Coming back in Game 3 with a double-double of 21 points and 17 rebounds despite the team’s loss, Towns underlined his undefeatable spirit even when the Knicks were coming up ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌short.
