Knicks Are On A Roll in the Playoffs
The New York Knicks have now won nine straight games in the NBA playoffs so far dating back to their first-round clash against the Atlanta Hawks, where they were once down 2-1.
The Knicks swept their second-round series against the Philadelphia 76ers and have yet to stumble in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Knicks were on the brink of defeat in Game 1, where they were down by as much as 22 points in the fourth quarter before a massive rally led by Jalen Brunson pulled them within striking distance and salvaged the victory.
Brunson and the Knicks brought the same fire in Game 2, where they led by as much as 19 points in the second half and never looked back. Brunson finished with 19 points and 14 assists to dictate the offense for the Knicks.
However, the Knicks should not let the foot off the gas. The Cavaliers won the second round after going down 0-2 against the Detroit Pistons. The Cavaliers won three straight games in the middle of the series before sealing the series victory in Game 7.
Games 3 and 4 will be in Cleveland. Tip-off for Game 3 of the East Finals is at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time.
