After finishing the season with a 12-5 record, the Buffalo Bills clinched the No. 6 seed and face off against the No. 3-seeded Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild-card round.
Bills quarterback Josh Allen and Co. are making their seventh consecutive playoff appearance. In order to move on to the divisional round, Buffalo must do something they haven’t done since 1992 — win a playoff game on the road.
Allen is 0-4 in road playoff games in his NFL career, but he’s prepared to enter enemy territory. “So, different atmosphere going against a really good team that’s playing really good football right now. Going to have our hands full,” Allen told reporters. “And this is what playoff football is all about.”

When the reigning MVP takes the field at EverBank Stadium on Sunday, however, his wife and No. 1 fan, Hailee Steinfeld, will not be in attendance. While she keeps a low profile, Steinfeld has attended nearly every Bills game since she first started dating Allen in May 2023.
However, the Oscar-nominated actress, who’s pregnant with their first child, has a very good excuse for missing the wild-card matchup.
Hailee Steinfeld Is Presenting at the 2026 Golden Globes, Set to Debut Baby Bump on Red Carpet

GettyHailee Steinfeld arrives for the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards on January 7, 2024.
Steinfeld wrote in her latest Beau Society newsletter that she’s been “hopping coast to coast” and “and yes, the Globes are this weekend.”
The “Sinners” star was tapped to present at the 83rd annual Golden Globes, which takes place at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday. The 29-year-old actress didn’t earn a nod for her role in the movie, however, “Sinners” racked up seven Golden Globe nominations including Best Motion Picture Drama.
The awards ceremony kicks off at 5 p.m. PT, making travel impossible for Steinfeld to watch the Bills-Jaguars showdown on the opposite coast, a game that won’t end until after 1 p.m. PT. Steinfeld does her best to work around the NFL schedule. But with the Bills in the playoffs and her movie getting award recognition — it’s a bit of a champagne problem.
“What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule,” Steinfeld told Variety in October. “So it’s actually a blessing — I try to organize my time so I can be where he is. This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him, and live life.
“When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me. I’ve never lived this part of life before — outside of my work. I’ve gotten a lot better at understanding what it means to slow down and to share that with someone. That’s the greatest thing ever.”

During an interview featured on HBO’s Hard Knocks before the season started, Allen gushed over his wife’s performance in “Sinners” and gave the movie an A+.
“Because it combines a lot of different aspects of life,” Allen said. “My wife absolutely kills it, and hopefully, award season coming around, people make the right decision.” Steinfeld earned a Chicago Indie Critics award nomination for her role in the movie.
He also cried the first time he watched the movie. “I was just so proud of her,” Allen explained. “I get emotional thinking about it, but it was a pretty cool experience.”
Allen attended multiple of the film’s premieres during the offseason. “I’m just there trying to support her, in whatever way that I can,” Allen said. “And that was her moment, and I’m so glad she got to shine.”
