It has been a Denver Broncos season full of change for Jarrett Stidham and wife Kennedy Stidham. Jarrett is the Broncos starting quarterback with Bo Nix out, but months earlier the Stidham family revealed major news.
The couple welcomed their third child to the world on October 6, 2025. Throughout the pregnancy, Kennedy gave fans a glimpse into their growing family.
“October 6, 2025- the day we became a family of five 🤍,” Kennedy noted in an October 14, Instagram message.
Kennedy continues to balance being a mom while cheering on the Broncos during their impressive NFL playoff run. Now, Kennedy will be cheering on her husband as one of only four quarterbacks remaining in the NFL playoffs.
Here’s what you need to know about Jarrett and his wife Kennedy.
Jarrett Stidham’s Wife Kennedy Stidham on Bo Nix’s Injury: ‘Absolute Whirlwind of Emotions… Do It For 10!’
Jarrett is undoubtedly excited to play in the AFC Championship, but it came as a result of unfortunate circumstances. Bo sustained an ankle injury in the closing minutes of the Broncos’ win over the Buffalo Bills in the divisional round.
Jarrett will be the Broncos QB1 against the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. If the Broncos advance to the Super Bowl, Jarrett is expected to be the team’s starting quarterback.
After news broke regarding Bo’s injury, Kennedy took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message of support, admitting it has been an “absolute whirlwind of emotions.”
“Absolute whirlwind of emotions after the game last night,” Kennedy explained in a January 18, post to her Instagram Story, per New York Post. “Ultimately so proud of these boys and what they have accomplished this season so far. Do it for 10!!!!”
Jarrett Stidham Calls Wife Kennedy His ‘Rock Through (the NFL) Season’
The college sweethearts got married in 2019. Jarrett and Kennedy met at Baylor while he was a standout college quarterback and she was a soccer star, per 247Sports.
Ahead of the NFL playoffs, Jarrett took to Instagram to give his wife a shoutout. The Broncos quarterback labeled Kennedy his “rock” during a hectic NFL season.
“My rock through season.🖤,” Jarrett said in the January 7, post.
Even before Jarrett was called into action, Kennedy has been a regular at Broncos games, cheering on the orange and blue. Ahead of the AFC Championship, Kennedy shared photos from the team’s playoff win over the Bills.
“One more time at mile high 🏈,” Kennedy noted in the January 21, Instagram message.
Broncos QB Jarrett Stidham on Bo Nix: ‘Sam (Ehlinger) & I Probably Spend More Time With Him Than His Wife’
It is heartbreaking news for Bo who will miss the Super Bowl if Denver is able to advance. With so many NFL teams in need of a quarterback, it could be an opportunity for Jarrett to prove he can be an NFL starter.
Jarrett’s two-year, $12 million contract with Denver is slated to go through the 2026 season. The veteran quarterback admitted that he and Sam Ehlinger probably spend more time with Bo than his wife Izzy Nix.
“Obviously, my thoughts and prayers have been with Bo since Saturday night,” Jarrett said of Bo on January 21, per USA Today’s Brandon Walker. “It’s crushing because he’s one of my best friends. Sam and I were talking about this. Sam and I probably spend more time with him than his wife does right now. That’s just the nature of the business that we’re in.
“When training camp starts, that’s just how it is. I see Bo more than I see my kids. So, it’s just one of those things. You spend so much time with someone, you see how hard they work, how good of a teammate they are and then that happens and you feel crushed for him and everything. Obviously, my prayers and stuff have been with him.”
