Interstate 25 is closed in both directions north of Fort Collins for a “major crash,” according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The highway closed between Colorado 1 and exit 293 for Carr at 2:19 p.m., the agency posted on X.
Drivers must exit northbound I-25 at exit 278 for Wellington and southbound I-25 at exit 287 for Buckeye Road.
Alternate routes are strongly advised, state officials said in a travel alert.
