Indigenous 15-year-old girl missing from Fort Collins

A 15-year-old girl was reported missing in Fort Collins on Monday after leaving her home overnight on foot, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. 

Alecia Naomi Sandlian was last seen in the early morning hours in the 400 block of Timberline Road in Fort Collins, according to a missing Indigenous person alert issued by the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

She is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall; 140 pounds; with brown hair and brown eyes. Alecia wears glasses and has ear and nose piercings and a mole on her face. She is affiliated with the Seminole tribe, according to the agency.

Alecia may be experiencing a mental health crisis and law enforcement are concerned for her safety, according to the alert.
