Interstate 25 northbound is partially closed in Castle Rock after a three-vehicle crash that caused a diesel spill and sent four people to the hospital.
The crash is between Castle Rock Parkway and Happy Canyon Road, South Metro Fire Rescue officials said in a post on X. All but one lane is closed while crews work to clean up the crash, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Two of the people hospitalized have serious injuries, officials said.
CSP said in a post on X three vehicles were involved in the crash; all three drivers were taken to the hospital.
South Metro Fire’s hazardous material team is working to clean up the diesel fuel, and the Colorado State Patrol is investigating the crash.

A video South Metro Fire posted to X shows at least one car and one tractor-trailer truck involved in the crash.
Colorado Department of Transportation cameras show traffic backed up for several miles.
