Humbold Park shooting leaves man, 26, critically injured

A 26-year-old man was shot and critically wounded Thursday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood.

The man was standing outside in the 3600 block of West Grand Avenue when a gunman jumped from a vehicle and opened fire at the 26-year-old, hitting him multiple times, police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

The shooter fled in an unknown direction.
