A deeper look confirmed that Luka Doncic was the one to start talking trash first against Goga Bitadze on Saturday night. Luka: “I’ll f*ck you up, don’t mention my f*cking family again”
Legendz transcribed the comments made in Serbian to reveal the entire exchange that caused both men to receive technical fouls. The transcription and translation claims that Doncic made a rude comment about Bitadze’s mother out of nowhere starting the drama.
Luka told the media exactly what Bitadze said, but he didn’t share that he made a similar comment about his rival’s mother first. The NBA rescinded Doncic’s technical foul to block the one-game suspension that would come from his sixteenth technical of the season. League officials likely don’t make this change if they don’t buy Luka’s claim that he had to stand up for his family.
Why Luka Doncic Insulted Goga Bitadze
The video from Legendz detailed more subtle moments that happened between the two earlier in the game. Bitadze talked trash to Doncic for missing shots earlier and gave him a hard foul to send a message on behalf of his Orlando Magic team.
Things escalated when Doncic missed a free throw and Bitadze continued taunting him to get in the MVP candidate’s head. Luka responded to Bitadze with the rude comment about his mother taking the trash talk to a personal level.
