A former resident of the South Shore building that was ordered vacated after a raid by federal agents last fall has gone missing, according to Chicago police.
Samantha Stamps, 56, was last seen walking to get on a CTA Pink Line train at the Central Park station, 1915 S. Central Park Ave. on Jan. 2, police said.
Stamp was a resident of a building targeted by federal agents during “Operation Midway Blitz” and became homeless after the last remaining tenants in the building were forced out last month.
Police say Stamps is 5-foot-4, 180 pounds, has brown eyes, black hair and medium complexion.
She frequently visits the areas of 21st and Spaulding and Roosevelt/Cullen, police said.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is encouraged to call Area 2 detectives at 312-747-8274 or call 911.
