During the first-round matchup between the Detroit Pistons and Orlando Magic, Angel Reese made headlines for seemingly trolling an ex-boyfriend.
Reese is currently dating Magic big man Wendell Carter Jr. Before Carter, the Atlanta Dream star was previously linked to Pistons All-Star Jalen Duren, though they never confirmed their relationship.
Amid the Magic’s 3-1 advantage over the Pistons, Reese shared a couple of Instagram stories featuring Duren getting dunked on by Carter and Jamal Cain. Her posts received mixed reactions on social media, prompting Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham to give her take on it.

On a recent episode of her Show Me Something podcast with West Wilson, Sophie Cunningham was asked about Angel Reese trolling Jalen Duren on social media.
“Something had to have happened for (Reese) to keep, I don’t know, wanting to embarrass him in some way,” Cunningham said, via Fox News Digital.
Wilson countered that something might have not happened, but Cunningham pushed back and offered Reese relationship advice.
“But then move on! Worry about the current boyfriend,” Cunningham said.
Amid the action on the court and a bit of drama online, the Detroit Pistons managed to complete a comeback from a 3-1 deficit. They eliminated the Orlando Magic after winning the last three games of the series.
Pistons fans even trolled Carter in Game 7 while he was at the free-throw line. They changed “Angel Reese” at him, showing that they are tuning in on the drama off the court.
Nevertheless, Duren got the last laugh as the Pistons advanced to the next round, while Carter and the Magic are having an early offseason.

It has been a very offseason for Sophie Cunningham outside of basketball. She has turned into a social media star after joining the Indiana Fever. She launched her podcast with West Wilson, a reality star whom she has known since high school.
Cunningham also signed multiple brand deals, showing the growth of the WNBA. She even became one of the featured models and athletes on this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
In an episode of the Show Me Something podcast last month, Cunningham opened up about her experience posing for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
“It really was so fun,” Cunningham said, via Sports Illustrated. “You just feel so empowered, and something I really do love about it is like, they choose … different body sizes, shapes and sizes, different ethnicities, like they just like empower all types of women and it really was like frickin’ awesome. It was awesome.”
In basketball, Cunningham had to go through rehab for her knee injury. She eventually signed a one-year deal to return to the Fever. She’s healthy and will likely be a starter, depending on Lexie Hull’s health.
