A person was fatally shot Thursday night in San Francisco’s Mission District, the police said.
The shooting was reported around 9:42 p.m. Jan. 15 in the area of 16th Street and San Bruno Avenue, next to the elevated freeway at the split of Highway 101 and Interstate 80.
A person was found with what was apparently a gunshot wound. Officers and paramedics provided medical aid but the victim died at the scene, police said.
No further information was released about the victim or the attacker.
