It’s already been a busy offseason for the former New York Knicks forward, Guerschon Yabusele.
According to EuroHoops.net, Yabusele has made a significant personal move beyond the NBA recently.
The veteran forward is now a key shareholder in the acquisition of a Belgian basketball club of the BNXT league, Union Mons-Hainaut.

According to the report, Yabusele has joined a group of investors, which includes multiple pro athletes, who are based in the United States. One of them (Nakobe Dean) played in the same city (Philadelphia) as Yabusele at one point.

When Guerschon Yabusele wrapped up his one-year stint with the Philadelphia 76ers last season, he garnered interest from the Knicks. The two parties agreed to a two-year deal, which seemed like a steal for New York at the time.
It was not a perfect match in the end. Yabusele appeared in 41 games for the Knicks, coming off the bench for 8.9 minutes per game. He hardly had an established role within Mike Brown’s rotation.

With Yabusele’s numbers taking a notable dip compared to his lone year with the Sixers, it was clear that the Knicks should consider moving on.
The Knicks and the Chicago Bulls struck a deal ahead of the deadline. In order to help the Knicks facilitate their follow-up move, Yabusele waived his player option for the 2026-2027 season. He could’ve made $5.7 million next year.
Instead, Yabusele will hit the open market for the second-straight season. He hopes to garner long-term interest from the Bulls, but the veteran forward could generate more suitors. During his 26-game run with the Bulls, Yabusele averaged 10.0 points and 5.7 rebounds with the Bulls, while shooting 38.3% from three.
