Ex-Bills Edge Rusher Joey Bosa Makes Major Personal News

Former Buffalo Bills edge rusher Joey Bosa is still looking for his next NFL home, but did get a ring in the offseason.

Bosa is still a free agent after the conclusion of his one-year deal with the Bills, and has been linked to several teams in free agency. As he prepares for his next job in the NFL, Bosa is also taking a major step forward in his personal life.

Joey Bosa Ties the Knot

As the New York Post reported, the former Pro Bowler tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend this week.

“Joey Bosa and fiancée Amanda Kassdikian are officially husband and wife,” the report noted.  “The free agent veteran defensive end and the model tied the knot at Stanly Ranch in Napa, Calif. on Saturday, as seen in social media posts. His mother, Cheryl Bosa, shared behind-the-scenes video on Instagram of the pair’s wine-filled wedding weekend.”

The report added that Bosa and Kassdikian invited some of his friends from around the NFL, though there were no Bills players mentioned.

“A number of fellow NFL players attended the wedding, including Sam Hubbard, a defensive end for the Cincinnati Bengals, Michael Davis, a cornerback for the New Orleans Saints, Chris Rumph, a defensive end for the Saints, and Jerry Tillery, a defensive tackle for the Indianapolis Colts,” the report noted.

Joey Bosa Linked to Super Bowl Contender

While there is not yet any clarity on where he will land next, some insiders believe Bosa is a strong fit to join his brother, Nick Bosa, on the San Francisco 49ers.

Los Angeles Lakers Announce Injury Report For Pacers Game

ESPN’s Bill Barnwell suggested it’s an “obvious call” for the Bosa brothers to play together.

“The 49ers are a team that’s very comfortable taking aggressive swings on talented players with upside, even if that upside comes with injury concerns,” the report noted. “They have an opening for a situational pass rusher after Bryce Huff retired Thursday, and Clelin Ferrell and Yetur Gross-Matos are free agents. Bosa would join up with his brother, Nick, who is recovering from the second torn ACL of his pro career. Joey Bosa would be in a part-time role on a 49ers team that should be heavily rotating its edge rushers throughout the season.”
