The Philadelphia Eagles are once again dealing with questions about A.J. Brownâs future.
This time, general manager Howie Roseman made it clear he isnât interested in changing his answer.
Speaking to reporters Tuesday morning, Roseman responded with visible frustration when asked if anything has shifted regarding Brownâs status.
âWhat do you think the odds are that Iâm answering this question any different than I answered anywhere else?â Roseman said.
âLike, really? Do you think itâs like 50 percent? Do you think itâs 75 percent? A.J. Brown is an Eagle.â
That line has become his consistent message throughout the offseason.
And despite growing speculation, he continues to stick to it.
Eaglesâ GM Roseman Leaves Door Open, But Stays Firm
While Rosemanâs answer sounds definitive on the surface, the wording still leaves some room for interpretation.
He continues to emphasize that Brown is an Eagle right now, but avoids making any guarantees about the future.
That distinction has fueled ongoing trade rumors, particularly with the possibility of a post-June 1 move.
If the Eagles were to trade Brown after that date, the salary cap hit would drop significantly, making it a much more realistic scenario financially.
Still, Roseman has given no public indication that a deal is imminent.
Instead, he has taken a consistent approach, shutting down speculation without fully engaging in it.
For now, the message remains simple: Brown is on the roster, and the team is not entertaining anything beyond that publicly.
Eagles Wide Receiver Additions Continue to Raise Questions
At the same time, the Eaglesâ offseason moves have only added to the intrigue.
Philadelphia traded for Dontayvion Wicks from the Green Bay Packers and signed both Marquise Brown and Elijah Moore in free agency.
Those additions, combined with DeVonta Smith, have created a much deeper wide receiver room.
On paper, it gives the Eagles more flexibility.
But it also naturally raises questions about long-term plans at the position.
Brown is coming off a 2025 season where he recorded 52 catches for 1,051 yards and seven touchdowns.
Those are strong numbers, but still a step back from his previous production.
There were also visible moments of frustration tied to his role in the offense, which helped spark some of the speculation in the first place.
For now, though, none of that has changed the teamâs public stance.
Roseman continues to passionately repeat the same message, no matter how many times heâs asked.
And until something actually happens, thatâs the only answer the Eagles and Roseman are giving.
