Draymond Green Makes Brutally Honest Statement After Golden State Warriors News

On Wednesday night, the Golden State Warriors played the Celtics in Boston.

The Warriors lost by a score of 120-99.

Their struggles continue, as they have now won just two out of their last ten games.

Draymond Green finished the loss with 13 points, five rebounds, five assists and one steal while shooting 5/12 from the field and 3/7 from three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

Following the game, the Warriors have now dropped to the 10th seed in the Western Conference.

After finding out about the news, Green made a brutally honest statement (h/t CLNS Media Boston Sports Network).

Reporter: “You slipped to the 10th seed today.”

Green: “Damn. Did we? That sucks.”

Green is in his 14th season in the NBA (all with Golden State).

He is averaging 8.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per contest while shooting 41.5% from the field and 33.1% from three-point range in 56 games.

ESPN’s Anthony Slater wrote: “Warriors get blown out in Boston. Assuming the Blazers finish off their own blowout over the Pacers, the Warriors will drop to the 10th seed. Portland holds the tiebreaker.”

Warriors In A Slump

The Warriors are 33-36 in 69 games.

They are 14-21 in the 35 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Following the Celtics, the Warriors will play their next game on Thursday when they visit Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat in Florida.
