Dianna Russini has been spotted for the first time since her apparent affair with New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel. In a photo obtained by Page Six, Russini was seen with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt. In the snap, Russini was holding one of her two sons as she leaned in and shared a kiss with Goldschmidt, whom she married in 2020.
“People in the community have said they’ve been very resilient as a family,” a source told the outlet. “They haven’t been in hiding.”
Goldschmidt was wearing his wedding ring as he and Russini shared a moment together outside their New Jersey home.
Dianna Russini Has Only Released 1 Statement About Her Alleged Affair With Vrabel
Last month, Page Six posted pictures of Russini and Vrabel together at a resort in Arizona. In the photos, Russini and Vrabel appeared to embrace and, at one point, they were holding hands. Shortly after the pics went viral, Russini released a statement.
“The photos don’t represent the group of six people who were hanging out during the day. Like most journalists in the NFL, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other venues,” Russini said at the time. From there, Russini resigned from her position as an NFL insider at The Athletic.
Over the past few weeks, more photos and videos of Russini and Vrabel have surfaced, suggesting the two have been seeing one another for years. On May 7, TMZ posted pictures of a pregnant Russini on a boat with Vrabel. The reporter has two young sons with Goldschmidt.
Mike Vrabel’s Wife Was Seen Wearing Her Wedding Ring
Vrabel hasn’t been too forthcoming with information about his alleged affair with Russini.
“These photos show a completely innocent interaction and any suggestion otherwise is laughable,” Vrabel said when the initial photos were released, according to NBC Sports. “This doesn’t deserve any further response.”
As more information came out, Vrabel addressed the media in a press conference.
“I understand that there are questions. I take accountability for my actions and the actions that caused a distraction to the people that I care most about, my family, this football team, the organization, and our fans. My previous actions don’t meet the standard that I hold myself to. They don’t,” Vrabel said, according to CBS News.
He went on say that he was focused on his family “and this football team,” referring to the Patriots. He explained that he needed to miss the third day of the NFL draft to be with his family.
On April 28, TMZ published photos of Vrabel’s wife, Jen, who was seen at Salt Lake International Airport in Utah—wearing her wedding ring. Vrabel and his wife have been married since 1999 and have two kids together.
