The Detroit Pistons are entering their 2025-2026 NBA season finale on Sunday. Ahead of the matchup against the Indiana Pacers, the Pistons announced their injury report, revealing the status of Cade Cunningham.
On the initial report, Cunningham has been left off. Therefore, he is listed as available to play against the Pacers for the final game.
The Pistons took the court on Friday night to face the Charlotte Hornets. For the second game in a row, Cunningham was in the mix.

When Cunningham went down with a collapsed lung on March 17 against the Washington Wizards, his season instantly came into question.
The initial diagnosis announcement left fans sure that he would miss the remainder of the regular season. There was plenty of doubt surrounding his playoff availability as well.
Surprisingly, Cunningham managed to get back out on the court after missing just 11 games. While prioritizing health is key for the top-seeded Pistons, who don’t need a win on Sunday, they made it clear that reps are critical.

Cunningham is still shaking off the rust after spending so much time recovering this past month.
While the Pistons could always change their minds about playing Cunningham on Sunday night, the plan is to have him out on the court for the 6 PM ET tip against the Pacers.
So far, Detroit only plans to sit Wendell Moore Jr. and Jalen Duren.
