Denver police say sexual assault suspect may have more victims

Denver police are investigating whether a 32-year-old man arrested on charges of sexual assault was involved in other incidents.

Tyler Jordan Ried was arrested March 7. The Denver District Attorney’s office has filed two felony counts against Ried: sexual assault and felony menacing. He also faces four misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure and one count of unlawful sexual contact.

Denver police said during the investigation, they received information indicating there might have been other incidents involving Ried. Anyone who believes they might have been a victim is encouraged to call the Denver police sex crimes unit at 720-913-6040.

For victims or witnesses worried about coming forward because of their immigration status, officials noted the department doesn’t share that information and that there are options for witnesses to remain anonymous.
