Commerce City man arrested during Larimer County child predator operation

A Commerce City man has been arrested after deputies said he attempted to buy sexual services from a child, according to a Wednesday Larimer County Sheriff’s Office release.

Daniel Goodfield, 36, was arrested on three felony charges — patronizing a prostituted child, soliciting for child prostitution and soliciting or attempting a cybercrime — following a Larimer County Sheriff’s Office child predator operation last week. According to the release, investigators posed as underage sex workers online and Goodfield allegedly attempted to solicit service. When he arrived at an agreed upon meeting location, he was confronted by law enforcement.
