Denver metro area school delays, closures for March 25, 2024

A storm system Monday evening is expected to being a mix of rain and snow to the plains, while the northern mountains could see as much as six inches, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

The southern foothill and Palmer Divide could see light to moderate snow showers, with an accumulation between 1 and 5 inches, forecasters said.

Denver is not expected to see much, if any, accumulation.

The next storm will bring snow showers to the mountains this evening through Monday night. Accumulations will mainly be 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts along the I70 corridor, #cowx pic.twitter.com/I11c6TP3sq
