On Thursday, Denver will be mostly sunny with a high of 59 degrees and wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 30% and there may be rain with possible thunder Thursday morning before 7 a.m., with a slight chance of rain and snow showers from 7 to 9 a.m. and a chance of rain showers after 9 a.m. Showers and thunderstorms might continue Thursday night with a low of 38 degrees.
Showers and thunderstorms may continue in Denver on Friday with a 40% chance of precipitation.

Snow showers will continue over the northern mountains through mid morning with up to 5 inches of snow possible. Downslope winds will develop late this morning, mainly over the foothills and across far northern Colorado, with possible gusts up to 40 miles per hour.
Afternoon scattered showers and storms across the lower elevations of northeast and north central Colorado are possible Wednesday and Thursday. Snow showers will bring light snow accumulations across the mountains through Thursday and may continue Friday and Saturday.
The northern portion of western Colorado will see rain showers and mountain snow, with possible accumulations of up to 3 inches, on Tuesday morning. The area may see more precipitation on Wednesday with a brief cool spell Thursday.
Critical fire weather conditions across the San Luis Valley today from 1 to 7 p.m. may continue through Friday. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible across the central mountains through the southeast mountains and plains Wednesday, with possibly severe storms in the southeast plains that afternoon and evening. Light snow accumulations will be possible across the higher terrain with greater accumulation north of Cottonwood Pass.
Higher terrains and immediate adjacent plains in central, east central, south central and southeast Colorado may see isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms through Friday.
