On Friday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers will host the Miami Heat in Ohio.
The Cavs are coming off a 120-103 loss to the Heat (also in Ohio).
Jarrett Allen did not play in the game.

For Friday’s game, there is a chance that Allen returns to action.
He has been announced as questionable on the injury report.
Danny Cunningham of Locked On Cavs wrote: “#Cavs have upgraded Jarrett Allen (knee tendonitis) to questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Miami Heat.
Jaylon Tyson (great toe bone bruise), Dean Wade (right ankle sprain) and Craig Porter Jr. (groin) are all out.”

Allen is in the middle of his fifth season playing for the Cavs.
Before getting hurt, he had been in the middle of another strong year with averages of 15.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 63.6% from the field in 51 games.

The Cavs come into play as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 45-28 record in 73 games.
They have won six out of their last ten games (and are 23-14 at home).
Following the Heat, the Cavs will play their next game on Monday night when they visit the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.

The Cavs are coming off a year where they swept the Heat in the first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs.
However, they lost to Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in the second round.
The franchise last won a title during the 2016 season (with LeBron James).
Heat Ahead Of Cavs Battle
On the other side, the Heat are the eighth seed with a 39-34 record in 73 games.
They have won five out of their last ten games (and are 16-20 on the road).
