Chicago White Sox Announce Andrew Benintendi Decision Before Mariners Game

On Saturday, the Chicago White Sox will continue their series with the Seattle Mariners (at home).

They are coming off a 12-8 loss on Friday.

Andrew Benintendi finished the loss with one hit, one run and one strikeout in four at-bats.

For Saturday’s game, the White Sox have announced that Benintendi has been scratched from the lineup with an injury.

The White Sox wrote (via X): “Andrew Benintendi scratched due to neck stiffness.”

Benintendi is currently batting .235 with 27 hits, two home runs, 17 RBI’s and 12 runs in his first 36 games of the 2026 MLB season.
