Chicago police searching for man who injured woman in hit-and-run crash on Lake Front trail

Chicago police are searching for a person who “catastrophically” injured a woman in a Gold Coast hit-and-run last week.

The woman was walking on the Lakefront trail near the 1400 N. Lake Shore Drive at 3:47 p.m. July 20 when she was hit by a man wearing a black ski mask and clothing, “recklessly” driving a yellow dirt bike, police said. She suffered “significant” injuries.
