Chicago Bulls Make Important Front Office Move Before NBA Draft

The Chicago Bulls are making moves in the front office.

After the organization hired Bryson Graham to oversee the front office, the new executive made his first major move by cutting ties with the team’s General Manager of the G League affiliate, Josh Malone.

The Windy City Bulls finished the 2025-2026 G League regular season with a 15-21 record. They finished 12th in the Eastern Conference. While the Bulls were sixth in the league for offensive scoring, they ranked 30th on the defensive end.

Outside of Mac McClung’s MVP-winning season, Windy City had tough go-round in the G League. With changes coming up top in the front office, Graham is looking to bring in some fresh minds for the Chicago Bulls’ developmental pipeline.

Beyond the front office, the Bulls have a lot of changes to make. The next major move will be finding a new head coach.

After six seasons, Billy Donovan decided to step down. Despite signing an extension with the Bulls last year, another rough season, with a clear rebuild in the works, caused Donovan to have a desire to step away.

The Bulls will also be adding some new key rookies next month in the 2026 NBA Draft. At Sunday’s lottery, the Bulls found some good luck and ended up with the No. 4 pick. They are in a great spot to add another dynamic talent to help kickstart the rebuild.
