Bryson Graham, a premier talent evaluator in New Orleans, will now spearhead a new era for the Chicago Bulls.
The franchise announced today that they have hired Graham as the Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations. In this role, Graham will serve as the primary decision maker for the Bulls’ basketball operations department.

“He has worked his way up through basketball operations from the ground level. And that experience has given him a deep understanding of how to build and sustain a successful organization. He is an effective communicator, a disciplined and thoughtful decision-maker, and someone who truly connects with players and people,” said Michael Reinsdorf, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Chicago Bulls.
Among the qualities the Bulls’ front office valued in Graham, his keen eye for talent and player development skills topped the list.
“He understands today’s league, today’s players, and what it takes to develop talent and build a winning culture. Just as important, Bryson is committed to building a high-level group around him. He knows what he does well, and he is focused on surrounding that with strong leadership across strategy, scouting, and player development. This is an important step for our organization. We know there is work ahead, but we are confident in Bryson’s ability to lead, build, and move us forward.”
Bryson Graham Hired as Bulls Lead Executive
Bryson Graham, 39, was the youngest of the three finalists for the role. Dennis Lindsey of Detroit and Matt Lloyd of Minnesota were also in consideration.
Graham joins Chicago after most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Atlanta Hawks (2025-26).

Graham, a 2009 Texas A&M alumnus and former Aggie hooper, began his career with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Starting as an intern with the Pelicans in 2010, he quickly climbed the ranks within the organization. He later served as a Player Development Director, Basketball Operations Associate, Video Coordinator, Scouting Coordinator, and Director of College Scouting.
In 2019, Graham was promoted to Assistant General Manager of the Pelicans, a role he held until June 2024. After that, he was promoted to General Manager, capping an impressive ascension through the Pelicans organization.
Now, as the lead man in Chicago, Graham aims to lift the Bulls out of play-in purgatory.
