After the medals were handed out Sunday night, the winners of this year’s Banchet Awards toasted to each other and Chicago’s culinary community at an after-party featuring food, drinks and music with many of the city’s top chefs and industry leaders.

The restaurants and bars offering signature bites and craft cocktails at Venue SIX10 in the Loop included several beloved local institutions, including Frontera Grill, Superdawg and Gene & Georgetti — which was recognized with an Iconic Restaurant award, a first for the Banchets.

The city’s top local food awards is “the one night our Chicago hospitality community stops to celebrate the beautiful chaos that makes our community everything that it is in Chicago, one of the greatest dining cities in America,” Michael Muser, executive director of the Banchet Awards, said during there ceremony.
