Charli XCX, Lorde, Olivia Dean, Tate McRae and The Smashing Pumpkins to headline Lollapalooza 2026

Charli XCX, Lorde, Olivia Dean, Tate McRae, Chicago rock band The Smashing Pumpkins and K-pop star JENNIE are among this year’s Lollapalooza headliners, the festival revealed Tuesday. The four-day event runs July 30-Aug. 2 in Grant Park.

Other notable acts include New York rockers Geese, R&B artist Leon Thomas, rapper Freddie Gibbs, singer-songwriter Sombr, pop vocalist Zara Larsson, British pop group Wet Leg and K-pop band Aespa. 54 Ultra, JADE, Empire of the Sun, Yungblud, María Zardoya’s solo project Not for Radio are also on the lineup.

Festival organizers teased the list of musical acts over the weekend with “musical lollipops” — think Tooth Tunes, a popular kids’ toothbrush that played short electronic clips — at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade, South Side Irish Parade and in a handful of neighborhoods, hinting at artists such as Sombr, Zara Larsson, Aespa, 5 Seconds of Summer, Wet Leg and the Chainsmokers. Last year the fest teased the lineup with clips of songs performed by the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, who are also on the lineup.

Ticket presale starts on Thursday March 19 at 10 a.m. Four-day general admission will be $399 with general admission plus starting at $735 for a four-day pass.

This will be the 22nd iteration of the festival and the fourth since Mayor Lightfoot inked a 10-year deal with organizers. Last year’s festival drew a crowd of around 400,000 attendees.

Lollapalooza is one of the busiest tourist weekends of the Chicago summer. Last summer, hotel occupancy rates surpassed 2019 pre-COVID rates, in part because of Lollapalooza weekend bookings, according to Choose Chicago, the city’s tourism arm.
