Carlos Alcaraz looks to defend his title at the 2026 Monte-Carlo Masters when he takes on Jannik Sinner in the highly anticipated final on April 12.
Alcaraz defeated hometown hero Valentin Vacherot, the first Monaco native to ever reach the semifinal in the Open era. While Vacherot reaching the final would’ve made for a fairytale ending, Alcaraz fighting to keep his No. 1-ranking makes for a blockbuster match.
“It’s the dream spot for everyone,” Alcaraz said. “I’m fighting for my second Monte Carlo title, I think he’s fighting for his first one, and it’s going to be a really special one with No. 1 on the line, so that makes tomorrow even more special.

As Alcaraz prepares to compete in his 10th Masters 1000 final, fans are curious as to whether he has a special someone cheering him on at the Monte-Carlo Country Club.
Carlos Alcaraz Appears to Still Be Single at the Monte-Carlo Masters
While the 22-year-old phenom fielded marriage proposals from fans at the Australian Open in January, he appears to be a single man in 2026. If he’s dating anyone, he’s doing a fantastic job of keeping his girlfriend out of the public eye.
During the ATP Finals in November, where he placed runner-up behind Sinner, former tennis player Elena Vesnina inquired about his private life. “I have a question from a lot of girls around the world. Your heart has been taken?” Vesnina asked.

Alcaraz he previously been linked to Spanish tennis player Maria Gonzalez Gimenez. Tennis Tonic captured a rare photo that Alcaraz posted of the duo on Instagram in April 2022 that showed him kissing her cheek.
However, he spoke candidly about their breakup in a Vogue interview published in February 2023. At the time, Alcaraz noted they had split 18 months prior. “It’s complicated, never staying in one place,” he said. “It’s hard to find the person who can share things with you if you’re always in different parts of the world.”
Most recently, Brooks Nader was linked to Alcaraz after the model’s sister claimed they were dating. “The rumors are true,” Grace Ann Nader told E! News of her sister’s love life. “Dating is such a loose term. But I do know he’s the man of the hour.” Brooks was actually linked to both Sinner and Alcaraz. “I will just say a lady doesn’t kiss and tell,” she said on “WWHL when host Andy Cohen asked for clarity.
However, Brooks, 28, is currently dating Taron Egerton. And for now, the seven-time Grand Slam champion’s most serious relationship is with tennis and his new coach.

The similarities don’t stop there. Alcaraz and Sinner have each won 26 tour-level titles. They’ve also both spent 66 weeks at No. 1 — another tie set to break during the Monte-Carlo Masters final.
