The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might still get the last laugh.
After much derision over not adding an edge rusher in free agency, there still might be hope for what’s been a lost position, for the most part, over the last few seasons.
Part of that movement toward the good might be drafting an edge rusher early in the 2026 NFL draft — something the Buccaneers are showing they’re in the market for.
“The Buccaneers are hosting Missouri pass-rusher Zion Young on a top-30 visit today, per source,” NFL reporter Arye Pulli wrote on his official X account on Thursday. “One of the busier prospects in this class.”
Young, 6-foot-6 and 262 pounds, has over 10 reported pre-draft visits with NFL teams after putting up career highs of 6.5 sacks, 16.5 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles in 2025.
