Boy, 15, wounded in Bronzeville shooting

A 15-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting Saturday night in Bronzeville on the South Side.

The boy was outside in the 300 block of East 43rd Street around 7:20 p.m. when he was struck in the right arm by gunfire, Chicago police said.

He was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital where he was listed in good condition, police said.


Area 1 detectives were investigating.
