Boy, 14, shot during argument in North Lawndale

A teenage boy was listed in good condition after he was shot during an argument Monday in North Lawndale, police said.

The boy, 14, was arguing with someone who pulled a gun and fired shots then ran away, according to Chicago police. The shooting happened about 4:40 p.m. in the 3100 block of South Douglas Blvd.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the right wrist. He was taken to Humboldt Park Health in good condition.


Detectives are investigating and no one is in custody. No other information was available Monday evening.
