Boston Red Sox Star Roman Anthony Made History Against Reds

On Thursday afternoon, the Boston Red Sox played their first game of the 2026 season when they faced off against the Cincinnati Reds in Ohio.

The Red Sox won by a score of 3-0.

Roman Anthony finished the win with three hits and one walk.

He also made history with his performance.

Anthony was picked in the second round of the 2022 MLB Draft.

He is coming off his first season in the Major Leagues where he batted .292 with eight home runs, 32 RBI’s, 48 runs and four stolen bases in 71 games.
