Also on Sunday, Orlando Arcia was designated for assignment by the Minnesota Twins.
Arcia had been in the middle of his first season with the Twins.
He batted .271 with 13 hits, one home run, two RBI’s and six runs in 18 games.

Arcia spent the first 5.5 seasons of his career with the Milwaukee Brewers.
He then spent part of five seasons with the Braves.
During his time in Atlanta, Arcia made the 2023 MLB All-Star Game (and helped the franchise win the 2021 World Series title).

Following the Braves, Arcia had a brief stop with the Colorado Rockies (in 2025).
He had signed with the Twins over the offseason.
