Aaron Gordon Sends Strong Message to NBA About Denver Nuggets Vet

The Denver Nuggets hosted the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, April 8. Tim Hardaway Jr. had a short shift, yet an impressive night.

Hardaway checked in for 19 minutes against the Grizzlies.

The veteran shot 5-10 from the field, making 3-8 shots from beyond the arc. The sharpshooter accounted for 13 points, coming down with four rebounds, and producing two assists.

It was another impressive game from one of the league’s top reserves this year. As Hardaway’s help off the bench contributed to a 10th straight win, the veteran Aaron Gordon credited the veteran for being one of the top value contracts in the NBA.

Tim Hardaway Jr’s Impressive Denver Run

By rattling off 10 wins in a row, the Nuggets have done everything they could to surpass a struggling Los Angeles Lakers team. After LA lost three in a row, they dropped 1.5 games behind the Nuggets in the standings.

After Wednesday’s win over the Grizzlies, the Nuggets are confidently holding third place. That’s the highest they can go, after the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs locked up the first two seeds.

Hardaway is gearing up for his seventh playoff run. His first two happened with the Atlanta Hawks. There were three playoff runs with the Dallas Mavericks before last year’s lone postseason battle with the Pistons.
