On Thursday, the Boston Red Sox will finish their series with the Chicago White Sox at Fenway Park.
They are looking to go for the sweep after winning the first two games.
Most recently, the Red Sox won by a score of 4-0 on Wednesday.

Earlier this week, the Red Sox acquired Eli White in a trade with the Atlanta Braves.
The Red Sox wrote (via X) on August 3: “The #RedSox today acquired outfielder Eli White from the Atlanta Braves, in exchange for right-handed pitcher Tyler Uberstine.”
Following the trade, White met with the media (h/t NESN).
White: “My grandparents were born and raised in Westwood. My mom was born here… I remember coming on trips when I was a young kid. My grandfather would always bring me up here to some games… I’m super excited and pumped to be playing for the Red Sox.”

White was picked in the 11th round of the 2016 MLB Draft.
He had been with Atlanta since the 2023 season.
In addition, the 32-year-old has also spent three of his seven MLB seasons with the Texas Rangers.
Right now, White is batting .231 with 31 hits, five home runs, 17 RBIs, 17 runs and four stolen bases in 70 games.
