3 shot, 1 fatally, in Englewood

A man was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Friday night in Englewood on the South Side.

Three men were standing outside in the 700 block of West 73rd Street when they got in an argument with a person around 9:40 pm., Chicago police said. The person opened fire and struck all three men.

A 34-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.

Another man, 50, was struck in the back and suffered a graze wound to the arm while a third man, 20, was shot in the arm. Both men drove themselves to the University of Chicago Medical Center and were in fair condition, police said.


No arrests were made.
