2026 NASCAR Cup Series Standings after the Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway

Tyler Reddick backed up his early-season form with a dominant showing at Darlington Raceway, taking control of the 2026 NASCAR Cup Series standings after six races. The 23XI Racing driver converted his pole position into a win in the Goodyear 400, leading 77 laps, including the final 28, to secure his fourth victory of the season. The result pushed him further ahead in the championship race as the field continues to chase consistency in the opening stretch.

The Darlington event delivered a mix of strategy and speed. Brad Keselowski swept both stages but had to settle for second place at the finish. Ryan Blaney completed the podium in third. While several drivers showed pace, Reddick’s ability to close out the race made the difference and strengthened his position at the top of the standings.

Tyler Reddick Builds Commanding Championship Lead

Reddick now leads the standings with 325 points after six races. His record includes four wins, four top-five finishes, and five top-10s, along with 189 laps led. Just as important, he has avoided any did-not-finish results, giving him a clean and consistent start to the season.

Ryan Blaney sits second with 230 points, trailing by 95. He has one win, two top-five finishes, and four top-10s, but has also recorded one DNF, which has cost him ground. Despite that gap, Blaney remains one of the few drivers with both speed and results early in the year.

Bubba Wallace holds third with 205 points. He has yet to win but has four top-10 finishes and has led 86 laps. Denny Hamlin is close behind in fourth with 203 points, adding one win and 152 laps led to his season totals.

Chase Elliott rounds out the top five with 194 points. He remains winless but has two top-five finishes and three top-10s, keeping him within striking distance as the standings begin to take shape.

Mid-Pack Battle Tightens After Darlington Raceway Shake-Up

The fight behind the top five remains tight, with several drivers separated by small margins. William Byron is sixth with 191 points, followed by Chris Buescher at 188 and Christopher Bell at 182. Bell’s 225 laps led is one of the highest totals in the field, but a lack of wins has limited his points gain.

Brad Keselowski’s strong Darlington run moved him into ninth with 182 points. His stage wins showed race-winning speed, even if the overall victory slipped away. Kyle Larson completes the top 10 with 176 points, still searching for his first win of the season.

Ty Gibbs sits 11th with 173 points, while Ryan Preece holds the final playoff spot in 12th with 154. Both drivers remain under pressure as the field behind them continues to close in.

Playoff Picture Begins to Take Early Shape

Just outside the top 12, Carson Hocevar is 13th with 151 points, followed closely by Daniel Suárez at 150. Shane van Gisbergen holds 15th with 140 points, and Joey Logano sits 16th with 139, keeping himself inside the projected playoff grid for now.

The current format will see the top 16 drivers advance to the playoffs after Race 26, leaving plenty of time for movement in the standings. Still, early results are starting to matter more as the schedule builds momentum.

Reddick’s Darlington performance not only extended his lead but also set the tone for the season ahead. With a 95-point advantage already in hand, the rest of the field faces a growing challenge to close the gap.

As the series moves to different track types, the balance between speed, execution, and consistency will decide who can keep pace with the current leader.
