One person was killed and another was injured in a shooting Monday evening in Auburn Gresham, police said.
Two men, ages 37 and 27, and a woman, 44, were in a car in the 8500 block of South Aberdeen Street, when they were approached by a group of people around 4:45 p.m. and at least one of the people fired shots, according to Chicago police.
The older man was pronounced dead at University of Chicago Medical Center after he suffered two gunshot wounds to the head, police said. The woman was in critical condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to the head. The younger man wasn’t hurt.
