2 men shot, one critically hurt on West Side

Two 28-year-old men were shot, one critically wounded, while driving Sunday night in West Garfield Park on the West Side.

Around 10:20 p.m., the two victims were traveling in a vehicle in the 300 block of South Pulaski Road when a dark car approached and someone inside opened fire, Chicago police said.

Both men suffered several gunshot wounds to the body and were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, one in critical and the other in fair condition, police said.


No one was in custody and Area 4 detectives are investigating.
