However, they have known each other since they were teenagers, as they went the same high school. They both attended Sierra Canyon School in California, where he played basketball, and she was part of the softball team.</p>

<p id=”par-8_52″>Her mother is actress Salli Richardson-Whitfield, who has appeared in the films like <em>A Low Down Dirty Shame</em>, <em>The Great White Hype</em>, and <em>I Am Legend</em>. Her TV acting credits include starring in the series <em>Eureka</em>, and guest appearances on episodes of <em>House</em> and <em>Criminal Minds</em>. Moreover, Salli has done some directing on <em>The Chi</em>, <em>Pearson</em>, <em>The Wheel of Time</em>, and <em>The Gilded Age</em>.</p>
