Where Is the ‘Alone’ Season 11 Cast Now?

Whatever the location, the format is the same. Contestants are dropped in a remote location with a limited selection of hand-selected survival items, such as firestarter, a tarp, and a bow and arrows. Once on their own, they must find food, water, and shelter. The goal? Outlast all the other contestants, and all while self-filming their journey along the way. The person who endures the longest wins bragging rights – and a whopping $500,000. </p>

<p id=”par-3_46″>Season 11 of <em>Alone, </em>which aired in 2024,<em> </em>recently landed on Netflix, introducing a whole new audience to the show. <p id=”par-5_50″>In the end, William Larkham Jr., a hunter, trapper, and fisherman from Newfoundland, emerged victorious, with a total stay of 84 days. Despite his big win, Larkham’s life still involves doing the outdoor activities that he loves. He shares updates on his adventures on his YouTube channel, <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/@Biglandtrapper/videos” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Big Land Trapper</a>.</p>

<p id=”par-6_81″>Larkham beat out Timber Cleghorn, a survivalist and humanitarian aid worker from Indiana, who tapped out after 83 days. These days, he’s still deep in the world of survival and outdoor skills, (which he’s passing on to his children). He posts about his life on <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/timbercleghorn/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. He also opened up about his life, including his off-the-grid childhood, experiences in aid work in war-torn countries, and his time on <em>Alone, </em>in his book <a href=”https://www.amazon.com/Memoir-Wildman-Timber-Cleghorn/dp/B0DL1BT7CN” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”><em>Memoir of a Wildman</em></a><em>, </em>which is available on Amazon.</p>

<p id=”par-7_35″>Dub Paetz was another strong contender on <em>Alone </em>Season 11. This Michigan native lasted 80 days before he had to tap out. While he didn’t win, his time on the show left a lasting impression. </p>

<p id=”par-8_81″>“I get to go down ALONE memory lane every time I come into this room,” he recently captioned an <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/dub_paetz/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> photo showing his display of <em>Alone </em>mementoes. “I can’t explain the feeling of holding and looking at some of these items. They all have small carvings in them to mark the days I survived, which really bring me back to my thought process on specific days … So many small wins that I’ll never forget on the road to 80 days.”</p>

<p id=”par-10_33″>Sarah Poynter, who tapped out after 42 days because of kidney problems, still lives in Alaska, where she runs a fishing lodge with her husband. <p id=”par-12_45″>Jake Messinger was medically evacuated after 21 days due to a bowel obstruction. While his <em>Alone </em>journey didn’t end as he hoped, it didn’t dampen his love for the outdoors. He continues to post about his life as a fly fishing guide on his <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/jake.woodsrunner/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a>. </p>

<p id=”par-13_43″>Adventure guide Michela Carriere lasted 18 days on <em>Alone. </em>As a Cree-Métis woman, she draws on her indigenous heritage in her work with <a href=”http://askiholisticadventures.com/about” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Aski Holistic Adventures</a>, which invites “people to disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with themselves, the land, and community.”</p>

<p id=”par-14_30″>Dusty Blake’s <em>Alone </em>journey ended after 10 days due to serious gastric pain. These days, he shares updates on his outdoor adventures on his YouTube channel, <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/@DustyBlakeWildmanAdventures/videos” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Dusty Blake Wildman Adventures</a>.</p>

<p id=”par-15_75″>Peter Albano, a librarian and outdoor lover, found the <em>Alone </em>experience harder than he expected. He tapped out after eight days due to an emotional breakdown. But that didn’t dim his enthusiasm for getting in touch with nature. “The forest in winter is an incredibly beautiful thing,” he captioned a recent <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DT4a3y-lDpD/?hl=en&img_index=1″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post. “Some pictures from a couple of the spots where I sat and just appreciated the trees and the snow and the silence.”</p>

<p id=”par-16_46″>Cubby Hoover’s <em>Alone </em>journey ended after just four days due to a scary accident involving an arrow. In a recent <a href=”https://www.instagram.com/p/DUmYc1FEUzv/?hl=en” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Instagram</a> post, he opened up about his time on the show and the negative comments he was once again receiving after his season landed on Netflix. </p>

<p id=”par-17_81″>“I made a mistake. I didn’t spin it. I didn’t romanticize it. I hated the outcome. And then I did the most difficult thing a man can do. I told the truth about it and accepted the cost,” he wrote. “…I’m alive because I chose humility over image, responsibility over pride, and truth over the approval of strangers. I’m grateful for that, deeply grateful. If that unsettles you, it might be because your idea of strength depends on never admitting fault.”</p>
