<p id=”par-1_14″>We TV is sharing the first look at its sure-to-be-controversial new series, <em><a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/we-tv-reality-series-age-gap-relationships-age-inappropriate-sneak-peek.html/”>Age Inappropriate</a>. </em></p>
<p id=”par-2_78″>The unscripted show follows five couples, all with significant age gaps. The cast includes a self-proclaimed playboy who’s dating a woman half his age, a 60-year-old nightlife mogul with a trophy husband 20 years her junior, and a pair of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/what-cardi-b-is-doing-on-onlyfans.html/”>OnlyFans creators</a> who were born nearly two decades apart. And then there’s Dr. Eric, a 74-year-old kidney doctor from New Orleans who is married to 33-year-old Tynisha – the show’s biggest age gap at more than four decades.</p>

<p id=”par-3_9″>That age difference can lead to some awkward moments. </p>
<p id=”par-4_20″>“Are we furnishing your daughter’s apartment?” a store clerk asks the couple in the teaser shared with Showbiz Cheat Sheet. </p>
<p id=”par-5_8″>“No, that’s my wife, ” Dr. Eric replies. </p>
<p id=”par-6_9″>“He’s definitely my sugar daddy,” Tynisha tells a producer. </p>
<p id=”par-7_87″>But Ty wants more than just a financially generous husband. While she was drawn to Eric’s charm and lavish lifestyle, she also wants to make sure she’s an equal partner in their marriage. After three years as husband and wife, they’re now building their dream house together. But Ty’s name is nowhere on the deed. Nor is she in Eric’s will. She fears that if something happens to Eric, she’ll be left with nothing. Meanwhile, he’s struggling to trust his young wife enough to let her in. </p>

<p id=”par-8_12″>Ty and Eric aren’t the only <em>Age Inappropriate </em>couple facing big challenges. </p>
<p id=”par-9_57″>Brooke, 47, bonded with Kai, 28, over shared trauma. The unlikely pair have embraced a no-holds-barred, pleasure-seeking lifestyle and have even turned their relationship into a business as full-time OnlyFans creators. But their loved ones question their partnership as Kai steps up as a stepfather to Brooke’s kids, who are closer to his age than she is. </p>
<p id=”par-10_88″>Kent, 60, is a “passport bro” who is living a dream life with his 29-year-old wife Jay-Anne in Hawaii. For this couple, the 31-year age gap is just one of their problems. Aside from a generational divide, Jay-Anne longs to return home to visit her family in the Philippines, whom she hasn’t seen in three years. But with three kids and life’s daily demands, that visit keeps getting pushed off. Now, tension is rising as she struggles for independence while he keeps a close eye on their finances. </p>
<p id=”par-11_67″>Sixty-year-old Janet is a powerful force in the Atlanta nightlife scene. She’s the clear breadwinner in her marriage to Drew, 40, who functions as her occasional assistant and bodyguard and full-time trophy husband. She’s encouraged him to find his own path in life, but her friends and family openly question why a successful woman would tie herself to a man who seems to be going nowhere, fast. </p>
<p id=”par-12_80″>Finally, there’s Vic. He might be 50, but he says he still feels like he looks like he’s 29. Perhaps that’s why this self-proclaimed playboy thinks it’s OK that he’s dating 24-year-old Caroline. “People think that we’re father-daughter,” he admits in the trailer, adding that “any man prefers dating a younger woman.” But the easygoing Caroline is beginning to question her future with Vic, especially as her businessman boyfriend has a habit of blurring boundaries with female clients and staff. </p>
