<p id=”par-3_45″>But while Vanessa is now confirming her support, insiders claim the couple spent days after Woods’ arrest fighting over the next steps. Multiple sources who spoke to the <a href=”https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/golf/article-15692567/tiger-woods-vanessa-trump-dui-florida-fight.html” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>Daily Mail</a> say that Vanessa wasn’t pleased with how their discussions went just after the incident. </p>

<p id=”par-5_39″>The insiders added that Vanessa was insulted by how her boyfriend responded and “angry” because of her own safety concerns as she and her children have traveled in a car with Woods behind the wheel plenty of times. </p>
<p id=”par-6_29″>This crash and DUI is the latest for Woods, who had an accident in 2009, a DUI in 2017, and a crash that badly injured him in 2021. </p>
<p id=”par-7_49″>On March 27, 2026, Woods was driving through his Jupiter Island neighborhood when he allegedly clipped a truck that was in front of him, causing his Land Rover to roll over. He was not injured in the crash and was arrested at the scene on suspicion of a DUI. </p>
<p id=”par-8_40″>Woods was transported to the Martin County Jail, where he took a breathalyzer test that confirmed he was not under the influence of alcohol, but refused a urinalysis test, which resulted in the charges. He has pleaded not guilty. </p>

<p id=”par-11_90″>The PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp followed up with a <a href=”https://x.com/PGATOURComms/status/2039111804802986146″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>statement</a> of support for the athlete that read: “Tiger Woods is one of the most influential figures the sports world has ever known. Over the last year, I have come to deeply appreciate Tiger not only for his impact on the game, but for his friendship and the perspective he has shared with me as I joined the golf industry. My thoughts are with him and his family as he takes this step, for which he has my full respect and support.”</p>
