<p id=”par-1_47″>After months of speculation, Sarah Ferguson’s whereabouts have been confirmed. And she reportedly has plans about when she’s going to come out of hiding and speak, but it won’t be in the same disastrous way her ex-husband, <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/embarrassing-andrew-mountbatten-windsor-didnt-know-use-credit-card-machine.html/”>Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor</a>, tried to clear his name years ago. </p>
<p id=”par-2_58″>Sarah fled the U.K. when King Charles evicted her and Andrew from Royal Lodge amid the Jeffrey Epstein fallout. The public knew exactly where Andrew went as <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/royal-exile-king-charles-refused-see-brother-andrew-despite-staying-just-five-minutes-away.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>he was exiled</a> to Sandringham more than 100 miles away from the rest of the royals in Windsor and London. However, where Sarah was had been a mystery though for months.</p>
<p id=”par-3_65″>That is until April 16, when The Sun obtained photos of <a href=”https://www.cheatsheet.com/news/why-is-sarah-ferguson-still-a-duchess-after-her-divorce-from-prince-andrew.html/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow”>the former Duchess of York</a> at a luxury chalet in the Austrian Alps. She was dresses casually and wore a baseball cap as she stood outside a van carrying a tote bag. Since locating Sarah, there have been reports that Fergie has received a string of interview requests but has turned them all down. </p>

<p id=”par-4_27″>“She has had a lot of offers including from <em>Newsnight</em> but is spending her time reflecting and has no intention of speaking out,” <a href=”https://www.thesun.co.uk/royals/38853902/sarah-ferguson-snubs-interviews-austrian-exile/” target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>a source explained</a>. </p>
<p id=”par-5_43″>The BBC <em>Newsnight</em> program is the same one in which Andrew gave his “car crash” interview from Buckingham Palace in 2019. The former prince did that particular interview in an effort to defend himself. But it ended up making him look even worse.</p>
<p id=”par-6_36″>Andrew did not come off as believable and showed no sympathy for any of Epstein’s victims. The backlash Andrew received after the program aired left him with no choice but to resign from his royal duties.</p>
<p id=”par-7_49″>The disgraced royal family member has since been stripped of all of his royal titles, evicted from the 30-room mansion where he lived for more than two decades, and was arrested on Feb. 19 for suspicion of misconduct in public office, also related to his friendship with Epstein. </p>

<p id=”par-8_35″>Following Andrew’s arrest, King Charles released a statement acknowledging that “what now follows is the full, fair, and proper process by which this issue is investigated in the appropriate manner and by the appropriate authorities.”</p>
<p id=”par-9_34″>He has previously denied any wrongdoing regarding his relationship with Epstein. Sarah has yet to make any public comments about her name showing up hundreds of times as well in the Epstein files. </p>
<p id=”par-10_62″>It’s been claimed that she is upset she was spotted and her location was leaked. But she will not be coaxed to return to the U.K. and go public just yet as that will be done on her terms. It’s believed the reason she’s turned down the TV interviews is because she would rather tell her side of the story another way. </p>
<p id=”par-11_68″>As an insider told <a href=”https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/royals/sarah-ferguson-tv-documentary-fergie-37038478″ target=”_blank” rel=”noreferrer noopener”>The Mirror</a>, Fergie has been looking into doing a documentary to get her side of the story out there, saying, “Sarah knows she needs the money, and she’s open to the right television opportunity, but she’s also very aware of the tightrope she’s walking. Her daughters are part of the royal family, and anything she does reflects on them. It has to be handled carefully.”</p>
